Pacific Saddlery has taken the following steps to enable repairs to continue during the COVID-19 pandemic.
1. We.ve moved our workshop into our garages to enable the team to work from home.
2. On arrival, all packages will be opened with gloves, and all contents will be disinfected. No alcohol will be used on leather.
3. When shipping, gloves will be worn when packaging repairs and will be disinfected directly before placing them in the packaging. No alcohol will be used on leather.
Currently, both the USPS and CDC have stated, “there is likely very low risk of spread from products or packaging that are shipped” we will continue to monitor recommendations and update our procedures should this change.
Above all else, our thoughts are with those affected by the virus, particularly those who are sick. We wish them a speedy recovery, and we remain inspired by our healthcare workers and others who are caring for people around the world.
